This was bad. This was insanely bad. Seriously, they were about to die and Sam knew there was absolutely nothing they could do about it. He looked over at Dean, the fear he knew that was in his own expression also mirrored in his brother's. He took a breath, shifting, bracing himself as he waited for that cloud of Darkness to bowl over them, prepared for the absolute worst.
Dean was freaking out next to him, scrambling, still trying to get the Impala to move, but he finally accepted that they were irrevocably stuck and that something terrible was seriously about to happen to them both. After a moment he reached over, grabbing Sam's arm. "Sammy, just hold on!" He shouted before screwing his eyes shut and waiting.
Sam ended up doing the same, eyes squeezed so tightly shut, scared about what was going to happen. And then nothing. The Darkness should have been on them by then, should have covered the car and done...well whatever it was going to do, but nothing was happening. So carefully, Sam opened his eyes to look.

A concerned frown. "The Darkness is free. I shouldn't feel relieved, but I am. Because I am finally whole again."

"The way you were before you were cast out. Does that mean...I mean, do you want...do you still want to destroy humans?"

A wry look. "Once again, the Winchesters have taken my father's Plan and turned it on its ear."

He was still drawn to Lucifer, just like he'd been before but it wasn't the same. He felt something deeper this time, like he could trust Lucifer.

"I always will be."

The question earns Sam a wry look. “No, Sam. I won’t ask that of you.”
But he should also be honest with him. “You are my true vessel. Maintaining this one will not be easy. But I will find a way to make it work.” If only so he could have more moments like this, being able to reach out to Sam and not have him shy away in fear.

"But yes. It is.. nice to remember who I was. Before the Mark."

"We will face this Darkness together."

Lucifer says nothing, he simply closes the remaining distance between them, cool lips pressing to Sam's warm ones and it feels like heaven. A spark of intimacy shared with his vessel, with his Sam.

One hand came up to cup his cheek, wanting more.

Not all angels were ignorant of human forms of intimacy. Lucifer presses closer, fingers sinking slowly into his shaggy hair as Sam deepens the kiss.
His Sam. The one person in all of Creation he would do anything for.

He tilted his head a bit, making Lucifer tug just slightly at his hair, making him moan.
no subject
The moan against his lips draws an answering rumble from Lucifer as his lips part and his fingers tighten in Sam's hair.
"Bed," he murmurs against his lips. "Please Sam."

The next moment he was dragging Lucifer to the bed, falling back once he felt the backs of his knees hit the bed. He drug Lucifer down with him.
