Lucifer's hand pauses on the side of the car before fixing Sam with a look. "I owe you this much, Sam." In fact, he owes him much more.
The use of his strength would ordinarily be minimal to lift the Impala out of the mud. But Lucifer had pulled free of the Cage, raced to Sam and protected him from the storm of Darkness.
With the Impala on solid ground again, Lucifer gives in to exhaustion, sliding gracelessly into the mud.
Dean drags a hand through his hair. "All right Sammy. Get him in the car and let's get outta here."
