Lindsey held his breath when Sam pushed his way forward and his teeth ground against the insides of his cheeks until his face felt numb. He inhaled shakily when Sam finally settled, and breathing all of a sudden, he out several rapid breaths and tried to get it under control.

Damn Sam was big, just like the rest of the soulless hunter. Lindsey leaned forward on his elbow, which caused him to stick his ass up higher and hopefully adjust to the height of the other towering over him.

"That's more like it," he bit out though his heart wasn't in it at all.
