"Don't worry, sir. I will do my best for Mr. Winchester." Lindsey smiled brightly and dipped his head slightly when the older lawyer clapped him on his shoulder.
Holland turned to Sam next, smiling benignly like an old grandfather.
"Well, it seems like everything is in order, Mr. Winchester. I will leave you to the very capable hands of Lindsey here, one of our youngest and brightest." He clapped Lindsey on the shoulder again. "Lindsey, don't forget to offer our client the full range of our services."
There was a barely perceivable stiffening in the young lawyer's stance, but he smiled back and nodded his head. "Of course, sir. The very best for our clients."
"Good, that's good." Holland smiled in a way that had Lindsey ducking his head again, then let go. "I will leave you two to it. Good night, Mr. Winchester. Lindsey, tomorrow morning." Smiling at them both, that smile never wavered, Holland left Lindsey's office back to the two of them.
Lindsey turned back to Sam and sat back in his seat across from him. "Before we start, can I get you something to drink? Coffee? Tea?"
